Our client, a prestigious PE-backed professional services business, is seeking an experienced professional to join their team on a six-month contract. This role is pivotal in analyzing and interpreting financial data to deliver actionable insights, aiding strategic decision-making processes within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and dashboards using Power BI.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
Collaborate with finance teams to understand and fulfill reporting requirements.
Integrate diverse data sources ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Conduct advanced data analysis and visualization to support financial planning and strategic initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data reporting and connectivity.
Maintain and optimize existing reporting solutions for enhanced performance and scalability.
Present data findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and stakeholders effectively.

Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a focus on financial data reporting.
Strong background working within private equity-backed organizations.
Proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and other relevant BI tools.
Extensive experience in financial data modeling, analysis, and visualization.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

Experience with additional BI tools and technologies.
Familiarity with financial reporting standards and practices.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong project management capabilities.
