As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team.
Position Overview:We are looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support, and be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.
Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day engineering support to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and factory facilities.
- Conduct PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) testing on electrical equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications: Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Familiarity with PUWER regulations and PAT testing procedures. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
