Up to £65k basic salary + revenue related salary increases
My client are a well-established Independent Financial Advice firm with offices based near Maidenhead. They offer whole of market advice on Pensions, Investments, Tax Planning, IHT, Mortgages and some Protections to wealthy clients across the Southeast of England. They also offer Wills and Trusts as well as Powers of Attorney assistance and a string of other services.
They have a 30 year history in financial planning and have an established book of clients that continues to grow organically. This practice requires an experienced Paraplanner (Ideally with Chartered Status) who is client facing, and willing to nurture and develop relationships with existing clients overseeing their complete wealth management requirements alongside an IFA. You will ensure that their wealth management needs are met, and that they continue to use and recommend this company’s services.
This position is suitable to Paraplanners who are interested in the service and technical side of the job, and will appeal to those that prefer the offering of complete, holistic wealth management advice and truly working with the client’s best interests in mind.
You will be working alongside a long established Advisor who has built up his client portfolio over the last 20 years, and you will be supported by a keen and ambitious team of administrators who will be keen to learn from you. The role will lend itself to a career minded Paraplanner who not only the ability to nurture strong and ongoing relationships with their clients, but one that is also willing to share their knowledge and experience with the junior members of the team.
The role requires and offers the following:
• 2-3 years experience of working as a Paraplanner in an IFA or Wealth Management Practice
• Based within commuting distance of Maidenhead – 1-2 days home working
• You must hold your Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
• Preferably working towards or holding your chartered status
• Knowledge of Full market independent financial advice offerings
