Our client is a well-established, family-run business specializing in the distribution of Frozen, Chilled, and Ambient goods, as well as Fresh Bespoke Butchery and Fresh Fish products to the catering and hospitality industry. We are seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused, and proactive Account Manager with a passion for food to join our successful sales team. The successful candidate will be based at our depot and will play a crucial role in driving sales, profitability, and growth by building solid customer relationships and striving for excellence.
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with existing key customers and generate a pipeline of prospective accounts in the assigned area.
Utilize all available resources to search for and develop potential new accounts.
Manage and resolve customer problems and complaints to ensure continuous improvement in service.
Communicate relevant customer needs, problems, competitor activities, promotional trends, market conditions, and product developments to management.
Aim to exceed agreed sales targets and margins to contribute to the achievement of business objectives.
A genuine passion for food.
Experience in a demanding customer service environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Full UK driving licence.
Competitive salary package (GBP30,000 - GBP36,000 DOE).
~ Monthly bonus structure based on depot performance and individual performance.
~30 days holiday per year, including bank holidays.
