Osiris Recruitment is working with a client to find an experienced GSHP System Designer / Senior Project Engineer to join their growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing innovative ground source heat pump systems and leading various engineering projects. This role offers remote working options and is ideal for someone with strong project management skills and technical expertise in the renewable energy sector.

GSHP System Design: Collaborate with the technical team to design innovative ground source heat pump systems.
Project Leadership: Manage multiple projects from concept to completion, following industry-standard project phases.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, external agencies, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Continuously enhance and develop project management processes.
Training & Development: Stay up to date with industry trends, participate in technical training, and support team skill development.
GSHP Design Experience: Proven experience in designing ground source heat pump systems (experience with Gaia GLD software is a plus but not essential).
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects and deliver client-focused solutions.
Time Management: Able to manage several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and renewable energy solutions.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent industry experience.
A PhD in a relevant discipline is advantageous but not required.
Salary: Competitive and negotiable, based on experience.
Pension: Company pension scheme after the successful completion of a 3-month probationary period.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days (with 3 to be taken during the Christmas period) plus bank holidays, with additional holidays accrued over time and the option to purchase extra leave.
Profit Share: Eligible for the company’s profit share scheme after the probationary period.
