Your new role
You will be working very closely with a Finance Business Partner to ensure the delivery of end-to-end financial service for various group functions. This will include detailed financial reporting per function, including monthly accounts review, tracking & monitoring spend/costs, analysis of actuals vs forecast and variance reporting where required.
You will lead monthly financial review meetings with each of the cost centre managers to provide insightful analysis on current performance and challenging overspend / future spending to ensure targets are achieved. You will build relationships with your stakeholders to ensure that financial submissions are delivered on time, that the budget holders are engaged in sound financial discipline and that your advice is proactively sought on all financial matters.
There is scope for the breadth of this role to significantly increase in line with your experience and time in post.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will be actively pursuing a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or already qualified. You will be able to "bring the numbers to life" for your non-finance stakeholders, providing analysis and insights, to enable informed decision-making at both a detailed and strategic level. You will be confident in your Excel skills and be a confident communicator, who is naturally inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions and help drive continuous improvements.
