We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join our team. If you have a love for teaching and a knack for bringing the subject of geography to life, we want to hear from you

Contract: Full-Time Position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Salary: Competitive, Based on the M1 - M6 Teaching Scale AND Determined by Experience

THE ROLE

  • Deliver engaging and effective geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that stimulates student interest and promotes a deep understanding of geographical concepts.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Build a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, strategies, and best practices.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

YOU

  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Previous experience within a school setting.
  • QTS or relevant teaching or education qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and effective teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
