Job Title: Asbestos Contracts Manager. Location: London, Greater London. Salary / Benefits £30k - £65k + Benefits Our client is a leading Asbestos Removal company who have a national presence. They are now seeking to take on an experienced and knowledgeable Asbestos Contracts Manager. You will be working across Local Authority, Social Housing, Educational, and Industrial sites across the South East. The successful candidate will have extensive technical knowledge of the asbestos industry, able to confidently quote jobs for clients, carry out staff appraisals, and maintaining and building excellent working relationships with clients. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Watford, Cheshunt, Harlow, Hertford, St Albans, Bishop's Stortford, Stevenage, Luton, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Slough, Windsor, Reading, High Wycombe. Experience & Qualifications:

  • Will have a strong background working in the Asbestos industry.
  • Strong technical, management, and removal skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Holding the ARCA contracts manager ticket would be beneficial to the role.
  • Able to communicate efficiently, via phone, email, face to face.
The Role:
  • Carrying out visits to a mixed portfolio of sites to gather information for producing quotes, preparing them in a timely manner and passing onto clients.
  • Overseeing a team of site staff, ensuring that work is carried out in a timely manner and in line with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
  • Assigning site staff to jobs, ensuring they have the right tools and equipment to carry out work safely.
  • Carrying out appraisals for site staff.
  • Efficiently managing licenced / none licenced asbestos removal projects.
  • Producing monthly management reports.
  • Efficiently managing new and existing accounts.
  • Producing bespoke risk assessments and method statements
  • Liaising with clients, dealing with any issues and queries.
  • Providing clients with invoices upon completion of work.
  • Ensuring to complete ASB5 documents and submit to the appropriate authority.
  • Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
