Data Centre Shift Technician

My client, a leading global provider of facilities and real estate management are looking for a Data Centre Shift Technician to join the team based in Slough.

The role is working Day shifts, Monday - Friday 8-5pm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for control and supervision of work tasks for planned and reactive maintenance with support from the building engineering Supervisor and day team. You will also be liaising with Engineering management to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies.

Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment
• Respond to Building Management System alarms
• Ensure that Evaporative Cooling Systems and domestic water systems are maintained to comply with L8 standard
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared
• Ensuring work packs include required documentation including review of Subcontractor RAMS

Manual Handling Training would be an advantage
• Level 3 NVQ in associated discipline
• PASMA & IPAF Preferred
• Knowledge of multiple interlinked systems (Fire, PMS BMS)
