As a service provider, RES has the skills and experience in asset management, operations and maintenance (O&M), and spare parts – supporting 41GW of renewable assets across 1,300 sites.Are you a Service Engineer from a Gamesa G80 Wind Turbine background looking for an opportunity?Join us as a Wind Turbine Technician in Wind Power Service and Operations as part of our expanding teams in the UK. Together with your colleagues, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our currently supported Technologies/Platforms, positively contributing to our safety culture, and working with our engineering specialists to enhance wind farm performance.Reporting to the Operational Project Manager, you will be expected to deliver maintenance services to Gamesa G80 series turbine projects in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines. Knowledge of other wind technologies will be a plus.Roles and ResponsibilitiesUndertake scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing.Carry out corrective maintenance; fault finding, troubleshooting and repair on all turbine systems which will include mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assemblies.Proactive repair or component replacement to prevent complete failure or system downtime ensuring the highest level of turbine availabilityProvide out of hours and weekend response to turbine breakdown.Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements including the WTSRAssist in providing solutions to the Technical Manager.Job RequirementsService Engineer with Gamesa G80 backgroundTroubleshooting and Fault Finding experienceComputer skills; word processing, spreadsheets, email, management and reporting systems, including the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting toolsWilling to work overtime on weekends, bank holidays and on short notice.
