Equifind are proud to be supporting a global financial services group in the recruitment of a FP&A Analyst to work from their European HQ in the City of London.

This leading organisation is currently experiencing an exciting phase of expansion, venturing into new global markets and executing strategic acquisitions. In the forthcoming year, they anticipate some remarkable growth compared to the figures recorded in 2022.

As a result of this growth, the Commercial Finance team requires additional resources to enhance the contextual insights into the business's financial performance. This newly created position entails a sophisticated level of commercial expertise, encompassing a wide variety of responsibilities including modelling, financial analysis, data analytics, and strategic business partnering.

Key Duties of the Role:

  • Contributing value-added insights that offer contextual depth to financial performance.
  • Analysing and granting access to revenue data, ensuring comprehensive evaluation.
  • Meticulously compiling, verifying, and ensuring accuracy in monthly reporting packs.
  • Conducting in-depth cost analysis, particularly focusing on employee statistics.
  • Developing and maintaining tailored reporting packs for finance stakeholders.
  • Establishing and updating Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tables.
  • Collaborating with other finance team members to promptly respond to additional information requests from the business.
  • Collaborating closely with the European Data team and regional finance leaders to procure and dissect revenue performance for insightful analysis.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build financial models.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Oracle EPBCS/PBCS or Hyperion Planning would be highly regarded.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel.
  • Exceptional commercial awareness.
