Fund Controller, Fast Growing Private Equity Fund, London, UK

Our client is a fast growing private equity manager which is looking to bring in a Fund Controller into their London finance function. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the growth of the business and work closely alongside a seasoned team, reporting directly into the CFO. Working across the finance division within a lean team this role will gain exposure across fund finance, valuations, portfolio performance and process improvement. This is a great chance to join an exciting and high-growth business, taking ownership for numerous elements of fund finance. What the job involves
- Review of quarterly and annual accounts for funds, including deal specific and carry entities
- Preparation and review of valuations monitoring, and fund performance analysis of the funds
- Quarterly investor reporting, drawdowns, distributions and carry waterfalls
- Day-to-day management of fund finance advisors
- Supporting the investment team to facilitate the deal process
- Continuous improvement efforts to standardise and automate financial procedures
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
- Experience within private markets would be desirable
- Understanding of valuations and portfolio performance
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and execute projects diligently
- Detail orientated and a self starter
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment
