Experienced, CNC Operator / Machinist Location: Negotiable depending on experience, Bonus applicable after 1 months employment,
Monday to Thursday 07:00am 16:00pm and Friday 07:00am -14:30pm with an hour lunch break
They are leading distributor of door and window hardware to the UPVC and timber industry with operations in both the UK and Ireland.
As a growing business they are recruiting additional employees to fulfil roles throughout their production facility. As a growing business there is potential for career progression.
The CNC Operator / Machinist role:
The basic duties will be setting up and operating a CNC router, maintaining quality and safety standards. Reporting directly to the CNC Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring production and quality targets are met.
The ideal CNC Operator / Machinist must show previous performance and skills in the following areas.
A CNC machine operating background is essential, with a minimum 1-year experience required,
Must be trained in 3 & 5 Axis CNC operation,
Knowledge of programming, Xilog also beneficial,
Flexible approach to work
Achievement of quality standards
Achievement of performance targets
Experience in woodworking (advantageous not essential)
