Quality Engineer - Product and Manufacturing

New opportunity to work for an innovative international leader in the design and manufacture of outdoor and marine equipment.

As a Quality Engineer you will play a pivotal role in ensuring product compliance, exceeding the rigorous standards expected by clients and regulatory bodies. You will be at the heart of operations, conducting internal audits, managing non-conformance investigations, performing hands-on product testing, and conducting thorough risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Internal Audits: Implement and maintain internal audit programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of current and new industry regulations and integrate these into operational processes.
Non-Conformance Investigations: Lead investigations to understand root causes, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
Product Testing: Perform detailed hands-on testing of products to assess quality, durability, and performance.
Risk Assessment: Execute comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.You:

Maybe currently be a Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, Manufacturing Engineer, Product Engineer or similar
Level 4 (HNC) or above in Mechanical Engineering or other related discipline
Proven experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
Experience in conducting internal audits and compliance with ISO 9001 or similar standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
