Job Description

Data Engineer

6 Month Contract

Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)

Via Umbrella

Our Edinburgh based leading Life and Pensions firm require a Data Engineer to help support them on an exciting project for an initial 6 months contract.

Cloud and Data Engineer - Join one of the UK's top employers in a growing, rewarding and exciting area of our business. Help build our Data Office team to develop advanced analytics, data science & AI solutions to solve business problems in a customer obsessed environment.

  • Help Facilitate EDM (Enterprise Data Model) building in Azure
  • Pull together all of the separate entities data and put them into one place
  • SQL/Python experience
  • Must have experience in Azure Databricks
  • Exposure to testing
  • Understand the data lifecycle
  • Data Analysis/Engineering experience
  • Exposure to data modelling – nice to have
  • Power BI – nice to have
