Double Days, Monday to Friday Circa £50,000 per annum About the Client: Our client is a leading company in the food manufacturing industry, renowned for their commitment to delivering high-quality products. They are currently seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their dynamic team in Cambridgeshire (CB21). Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned maintenance activities to ensure the smooth running of production machinery.
  • Promptly responding to breakdowns and performing effective repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance.
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborating with other departments to optimise production processes and reduce waste.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to production teams as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Working within a small, established team, covering breakdowns, planned maintenance, and implementing improvements.
  • Having autonomy and budget to initiate improvements aimed at reducing downtime and enhancing productivity.
Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in a manufacturing context.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  • Flexibility to work double days, Monday to Friday, as required.
