We are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to be part of a fast-paced and dynamic team. This person must be organised, self-motivated and have good communication skills as well as being a passionate marketing writer who understands digital marketing and advertising landscape and what makes informative value driven content. They are passionate about development and wanting to grow the brand. They are a true visionary, disciplined, collaborative and extremely capable of manifesting new creative ideas. Working with the wider team is focused on the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns that support and strengthen the Black Lives in Music brand.


Creating, developing and implementing marketing campaigns strategic thinking and planning ability
Writing case studies, press releases, award entries and support writing RFIs.
Website copy and white papers
Managing all social media across X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Website, LinkedIn & YouTube, including overseeing the creation, implementation, and optimisation of all content
Increase website traffic, conversion, and retention.
Solid working knowledge of current social and content marketing software tools and aptitude to learn, understand and apply new technologies.
Understanding of SEO and what makes informative value driven content.
Develop and manage email marketing campaigns.
Create, plan, copywriting and produce different types of content in collaboration with the BLiM project manager and external contractors for social media platforms (i.e., blogs, video, visual content) to maximise reach and engagement of campaigns.
Collaborate with the BLIM Project Manager to get maximum paid exposure for each campaign.
A focus on developing the Black Lives in Music online community and high understanding of opportunities in the digital musician space.
You’ll work with the extended Black Lives in Music team, and external contractors.
Data and analytics

~ Responsible for monitoring and sharing back, this would help guide our content and see what impact it’s having across each channel – website, LinkedIn lead generation, X, Instagram


Bachelor’s degree preferred.
You have expert knowledge of planning and executing campaigns, and how to use these to engage an audience and ultimately drive sales.
