This position will report to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, who recently joined one of the world's top hedge funds. The successful applicant will join the hedge funds Compliance team, focussing on Regulatory Reporting. The available position entails a versatile role in regulatory reporting. This collaborative opportunity involves working closely with the fund’s business compliance and IT teams to support the maintenance of regulatory reporting processes.

Base salary will be highly competitive, the fund also offers an attractive bonus and benefits package; alongside its hybrid work-from-home model.

Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supporting the team in the daily management of regulatory reporting tasks, including Short Selling Disclosure, REMIT, EMIR, MAS, Transaction Reporting, and more.
• Document processes and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and assess continuously the regulatory reporting risks and developments, to ensure changes are made in line with regulation.
• Define and manage daily workflow, ensuring trades are reported within the regulatory deadlines.
• Investigate and resolve exceptions and queries quickly and efficiently. Involvement with the project and BAU work within the compliance team.

Previous familiarity and experience with European, UK, and APAC regulations, along with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, is highly desirable for this opportunity. While candidates from the sell-side are preferred, individuals with a buy-side background are also encouraged to apply. The hedge fund is interested in candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
