My excellent client is currently recruiting for a Senior Client Accountant to join their fast paced environment and team, who are based on the outskirts of Chester in Ewloe.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Client Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Company Accounts, Self-assessments, VAT, confirmation statements, and financial reviews.
As a Senior Client Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of client financial processes while providing strategic insights and guidance.
Company Accounts:
Lead the preparation and review of year-end accounts for clients, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for the year-end accounts. Provide analysis and insights into clients' financial performance based on the year-end accounts.
Manage the process of preparing and filing self-assessment tax returns for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Assist clients in understanding their tax obligations and optimizing their tax positions.
Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients.
Financial Reviews:
Conduct comprehensive financial reviews for clients, analysing their financial statements, performance metrics, and key indicators. Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization in clients' financial processes and practices. Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to clients based on financial review findings.
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
* Proven experience in VAT management, year-end accounts preparation, self-assessment tax returns, confirmation statements, and financial reviews.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
* Proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service and driving continuous improvement.
