As a History Teacher, you will have the opportunity to immerse students in the rich tapestry of historical events, cultures, and civilizations. Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and informative History lessons that cover a diverse range of historical periods, topics, and themes, catering to the needs and interests of students.

Develop students' understanding of chronology, continuity, and change over time, helping them to make connections between different historical periods and events.

Teach students essential historical skills, such as source analysis, research techniques, essay writing, and presentation skills, equipping them with the tools to become effective historians.

Integrate historical concepts and skills across the curriculum, fostering interdisciplinary connections and helping students to understand the relevance of history in the modern world.

Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, fostering positive relationships, addressing any academic or personal concerns, and promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in History or related field.

Passion for history education and a commitment to inspiring students to become curious, critical, and empathetic citizens.

Previous experience teaching History at the secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.

Strong subject knowledge and a willingness to continuously develop and enhance teaching practices.

Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Supportive and collaborative working environment within an Ofsted Good secondary school.
