Summary:

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Full Stack Developer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role involves developing a Manufacturing Execution System (M.E.S) to monitor and control production processes, providing real-time visibility and insights into operations. You will work closely with the IT and project teams to design, develop, and support the new system, ensuring it meets all technical and business requirements.

Role Purpose:

The Full Stack Developer will play a critical role in building the new M.E.S application from the ground up using the latest .NET framework and Blazor. This system will help streamline production processes, reduce downtime, and enable better decision-making. The developer will be responsible for designing, coding, and supporting the application through the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the new M.E.S system, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with IT and project teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Design responsive, secure, and user-friendly applications using modern technologies.
  • Full-cycle development: from design and coding to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Develop and integrate databases, implement cybersecurity measures, and ensure seamless application functionality.
  • Create visually appealing and professional UI layouts, collecting feedback to improve designs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of development work and produce user manuals where needed.
  • Provide training and support to users of the developed system.
  • Assist in other IT projects as necessary.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in developing Blazor applications and hosting them in Azure, along with a background in microservice architecture. Strong skills in creating responsive UI using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap are essential, along with knowledge of best security practices like JWT tokens and multi-factor authentication.

Technical Skills:

  • Languages/Frameworks: C#, .NET (5-7), ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor
  • Web Technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap 4+, jQuery
  • Databases: SQL Server 2019+, XML, JSON
  • Tools/Platforms: Visual Studio, GIT, API development, IIS setup/hosting
  • Security Practices: Multi-factor authentication, JWT tokens, secure password implementation
