Our client, Falcon Food Service Equipment, an ISO Accredited leader in commercial catering technology, is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join their dynamic team in Stirling.

As a Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation and overseeing the full product lifecycle from concept to market. You will work closely with our design and development R&D team, focusing on gas technology but also collaborating on projects involving electronics, AI, and IoT. Lead gas product development projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and solve technical issues related to fluing, combustion, and product performance.
Contribute to Falcon's innovative projects, including advancements in hydrogen technology and AI-driven solutions for food waste management.
Utilise Electrical Drawing Package (Solidworks 2D Electrical) to produce wiring schematics and production drawings for gas control systems

Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in an Engineering Trade (Gas, Electrical or Electronics)
Experience in gas product development or a strong willingness to learn and adapt to gas technology
Ability to project manage through each project stage gate
Must be a strong problem solver and ability to get to the root cause with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, brainstorming and problem-solving to achieve project objectives
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude towards continuous learning and development.
