Director of Data & AI Bournemouth (Hybrid / flexible)
Salary: £120k – £150K + Bonus

Finatal is currently working with a B2B healthcare SaaS business that has recently gone through Private Equity expansion from a mid-market data-focused fund. They are on a journey to revolutionise the healthcare sector and have embedded data within their current products, in the next stage of their growth they are looking for someone to drive an efficient strategy within AI.

Over the last couple of years internally they have focussed on driving improved data quality, data analysis and insight-led decision-making, they are now looking for a Director of Data and AI to lead the current data team, and own and develop the new AI strategy and spot potential ai product opportunities to continue the fast-paced growth and increase market share.

As part of the senior management team, you will develop and execute a dynamic Data and AI strategy that aligns with the overall business growth objective.
You will develop, optimise, and maintain the current Power BI insights product, as well as enhance the internal data projects focussed on organisational efficiency.
Strong stakeholder skills will be useful to continue to drive the data culture across the business, as well as develop and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders.
An element of hands-on technical knowledge will be useful as you oversee the end-to-end ETL process using Synapse and the visualisation through Power BI.

Proven track record as a Leader/Manager within the data and AI space, managing teams and working with the C-suite to align with overall business goals.
You must have experience building Data strategy including integrating AI into overall business strategy.
Strong technical skills across cloud platforms and visualisation tools (Azure, Synapse and Power BI) etc
Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, STEM subjects or related field.
