Join our client's team at a newly opened hospital in Birmingham, a state-of-the-art £100 million facility. Sanctuary Personnel are seeking an experienced Oncology Matron to be part of our client's dynamic healthcare environment. The hospital is committed to delivering exceptional care across various specialties including Cardiology, Cancer, and Complex Surgery.

As an Oncology Matron, you'll lead by example, ensuring the delivery of excellent, safe, and compassionate care round the clock. You'll manage multiple wards and departments, providing nursing leadership and direction while serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for professional nursing and specialty-related matters.

In this role, you'll inspire and empower nursing staff, driving continuous improvement in service delivery and patient care outcomes. Collaborating closely with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you'll contribute to hospital-wide nursing developments and initiatives.

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in Oncology
  • Chemotherapy / SACT competency
  • Post-registration experience
  • Track record of leading and delivering best practices

  • Familiarity with relevant hospital policies and procedures, including Health and Safety protocols
