Staff Software Engineer/Cloud Architect

# See every asset across your entire attack surface—from cloud environments to every API endpoint with auto-discovery capabilities.
# A single suite that goes beyond OWASP Top 10 for full coverage for API specific threats, account takeover, malicious bots, L7 DDoS, and more.
# Automate security testing of your APIs and web assets. Prioritize remediation for every asset, in every environment.
Frontend: the system management interface is written in React and is a Single Page Application.
Node for filtering attacks requires maximum performance, that’s why we chosen C for its development.
Backend: we use mainly Ruby (RoR for API only and Sinatra) and Golang (Gin), some components and modules are written in Python (aio Flask, FastAP)
QA department using Python for developing integration autotests.
Cloud: GCP, Terraform, AWS
Databases: DevOps: Kubernetes , Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, Linux
It is a role for the Distinguished Individual Contributor.
As a Staff Software Engineer in our core team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architectural decisions of our cloud products. You'll work with Golang and Ruby to design, develop, and refine technologies that are critical to our mission and our users. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects and contribute significantly to our technical direction.
Architect and implement scalable, high-performance systems using Golang and Ruby.
Lead the technical direction of our projects, making critical decisions on architecture and design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define, design, and ship new features and services.
Ensure code quality, sustainability, and scalability through code reviews, mentoring, and best practices.
Provide leadership and mentorship to software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Golang, Ruby, and related technologies.
Extensive hands-on experience with Golang and/or Ruby, including deep knowledge of their ecosystems.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical approach to challenges.
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
