Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias

NO WEEKENDS

£38k - £42k OTE £50k (Salary may be increased dependent on experience) +study support +bens

South Kent

Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias, minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification and experience working in a manufacturing or production environment?

Are you fed up working 4 on 4 off?

Our well-establishedclient is looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in South Kent.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably experienced, self-motivated, and analytical Engineer to utilisemaintenance and repairskills within a varied and challenging, professionalproduction environment.

Duties Include:

Performing the effective and timely diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on a range of manufacturing machinery

Responsible for the dismantling, checking, and testing of components.

Attend breakdowns and keep machinery down-time to a minimum.

Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe working condition.

Providing support with general facilities management when required.

Spotting opportunities to improve processes and communicating this to management.

Working as part of a team.

The right candidate for this Maintenance Engineer role will have / be:

A time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer, qualified to Level 3 C&G or equivalent.

Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within Manufacturing or Production

Basic knowledge of PLC controls.

Experience working with automation machinery.

PPM, breakdown, installation, and reactive maintenance experience.

A great, team orientated attitude.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to provide technical support internally to production teams, explaining technical information clearly.

Able to write reports clearly – good written and verbal English.

Computer literate
