Our client who is a leading structural steel and architectural metalwork fabrication company are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a permanent position based in Luton, Bedfordshire.

As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in managing commercial aspects, estimating project costs and ensuring meticulous quantity surveying throughout the project lifecycle. From developing strategic commercial plans to preparing detailed cost estimates and managing project budgets, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business operations.

Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in commercial management, estimating, and quantity surveying within the steelwork fabrication industry.
Extensive knowledge of construction contracts procurement processes, and commercial negotiation techniques.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex project specifications and drawings.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
