We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Night Supported Housing Assistant to provide care and support to young people living in our services at night.. You will need to be able to work on a rota basis including weekends Responsibilities Provide waking night-time service cover and support to young people resident in our services. Ensuring that services provide a safe and welcoming environment to young people whilst monitoring visitors and residents in line with local policy. Respond to general enquiries from service users, visitors and other stakeholders and ensuring that house rules are adhered to in order to safeguard all residents. Undertaking relevant building checks, CCTV monitoring and data recording in line with local and organisational policy relating, but not limited to, Health & Safety, maintenance, and incident reporting. Providing appropriate support to young people as required and ensuring that detailed handovers are recorded and provided to day staff. Requirements Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. IT skills necessary to undertake all administrative and reporting requirements. Able to positively engage with young people and experience of previous engagement with young people. Excellent customer service skills and relevant experience in a customer focused role.
