The Investigator of Ethics & Compliance Investigations (“Investigator”) will conduct investigations into alleged violations of the Balfour Beatty Code of Ethics and/or other policies as required and will and support the continuous development and improvement of Balfour Beatty Communities’ (the “Company”) Ethics & Compliance investigations program. The position reports to the Director of Ethics & Compliance Investigations and will work with the Ethics & Compliance team, HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and outside counsel to implement and execute an effective investigations program, including the continued development of the Company’s investigations framework and reporting process.

Support the overall function of the Ethics & Compliance team as directed.
Review electronically stored information and other forensic evidence to include email, phone, business records, and other third-party reports.
Prepare reports of investigation (or executive summaries in lieu of reports) documenting findings, case details, and conducting root cause analysis to identify contributing factors for substantiated misconduct.
Achieved by organizing, prioritizing, and planning multiple concurrent tasks daily.
Maintain accurate records of complaints, assessments, investigations, outcomes and communications.
BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of investigative experience (law firm, in-house, law enforcement with familiarity investigating financial crimes, or forensic accounting firm
Incumbents will be evaluated in part based upon their performance of the responsibilities listed in this description.
