The RSC are looking for an experienced Editor to join their Digital Development department on a 12 month, fixed-term contract, to create engaging, high quality digital content for the RSC's channels. You will be joining a department who create, deliver, and administrate all the RSC's digital video content and digital development projects. Working across the whole of the RSC, you will be responsible for delivering digital and video content for a variety of departments, this might include trailers for new shows, content to showcase the great educational and accessibility work we create or editing on-stage performances for streaming. You will be working with a skilled in-house team of creatives in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon.
To be responsible for video post-production, grading, and delivery of projects for internal and external stakeholders.
To create motion graphic assets that adhere to RSC's in-house branding guideline.
To liaise with stakeholders to an agreed brief and to deliver content in the correct format for relevant distribution – including live streaming, broadcast, online and theatre usage.
To work in a co-operative and collaborative manner with all staff & departments on designated video related projects.
Skilled and experienced in the use of video and audio editing software including: Premiere Pro, Resolve, Audition & other Adobe Creative Cloud software.
Knowledge of Motion Graphics and compositing software including: A good knowledge of film equipment and processes.
Excellent attention to detail and strong focus on quality control.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months which is based in Stratford-upon-Avon. The role will be for 40 hours per week with flexible and hybrid options available.
