Cnc Operator

Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of CNC Operators within the Caerphilly area to join our clients manufacturing plant.

These roles are full time, ongoing working for a global manufacturing company, who offer a fantastic working environment, culture and are very much an employer of choice within the local area.

Hours of work:

3 shift rotating pattern Monday - Friday consisting of days, nights & afternoons.

* Days - 06:00am - 14:00pm

* Nights - 22:00pm - 06:00am

* Afternoons - 14:00pm - 22:00pm

Duties:

* Set up and operate press brake machines according to specifications

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job

* Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories

* Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds

* Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production

* Inspecting workflows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met

* Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining

The desired candidates will have:

* Be able to work as part of a team.

* Previous relevant experience operating a CNC / Brake Press Machinery

* Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
