Platform Support Engineer - Up to £55,000 + 2 Days onsite per week (London)

Our client, a fast-growing FinTech firm in investment management and financial advisory, is seeking a Platform Support Engineer, an Administrator/Engineer that can support Platform Engineering in managing, maintaining and supporting the AWS and Office platforms, whilst acting as an escalation point for the Helpdesk.

This person will be passionate about technology, someone who is keen to learn new things and solution-focused.

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ Years of experience in a similar Platform Support/Cloud Engineering type position.
  • Have experience working with making AWS and Office platform improvements/maintenance.
  • Resolving support requests logged via the Helpdesk system
  • Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes, support, troubleshooting and performance monitoring.
  • Linux Administration
  • General enthusiasm to learn and pick up some of the above skills.
