Due to further, strategic expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Quality Assurance Technician to join them at their facility in Lincolnshire. Working as part of the small, friendly quality team, you will ensure components are inspected to drawing tolerance / specifications efficiently and accurately, and deploy robust inspection practices and techniques. The key responsibilities for your new role as a Quality Assurance Technician are as follows:

  • Compile quality reports, including First Articles, Control Plans and MSA / Gauge R&R
  • Support with maintaining the Company’s Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 and Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001
  • Conduct periodic internal and external reviews and audits to ensure that procedures are followed
  • Carry out root cause and corrective action investigations using 8D/5 Why methodology
  • Compliance analysis against controlling Regulating Bodies, Customer and Governing Authorities policies, procedures, specifications and associated contracts (including quality, environmental, health & safety, hazardous substances, logistics and export control
  • Representing the Company as a Quality contact for customers and suppliers
  • Participate in continuous improvement project
  • Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position
Regardless of previous expertise, the ideal candidate will have an excellent level of attention to detail and ideally experience with AS9100 / ISO9001 / ISO(phone number removed) and NADCAP (this is prefered but no esstential). In return, my client is offering an excellent salary of up £26.850, with overtime being readily available for those who want it. An excellent benefits package is also on offer which includes 25 days holiday per year (plus Bank holidays), subsidised health care, personal accident plan, long service award, bike to work scheme, death in service benefit and a matched pension of 5%. The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4pm and 7.30am – 12.30pm on a Friday.
