Contract Planner in the Pharmaceutical Sector

Location: County Durham

Salary: £60-£75 per hour DOE

Are you a meticulous and proactive professional ready to excel in the pharmaceutical industry? We are looking for a talented Planner for a contract position in County Durham. This is your opportunity to join a dedicated team working on impactful small-scale EPCM projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, collaborating with teams to ensure seamless alignment of tasks and milestones.
  • Track progress by comparing actual performance against planned timelines.
  • Efficiently allocate resources across functions, ensuring optimal utilisation of manpower and equipment.
  • Identify potential scheduling risks or delays and proactively offer strategic solutions.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management is preferred, but relevant experience can substitute for formal qualifications.
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, or managing complex projects, ideally within the pharma/biotech sectors.
  • Expertise in tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, using them effectively for project execution.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to foresee obstacles and navigate around them efficiently.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, both within the organisation and with external partners.
  • Capable of working independently while also being a team player.
