Interim KS3 Teacher of Maths and ScienceKey Purpose of the Job

  • To provide temporary teaching support for KS3 Maths and Science students.

Responsibilities:As an interim KS3 Maths and Science Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons to students in allocated classes.
  • Adapting existing lesson plans to meet the needs of the students.
  • Monitoring student progress and providing timely feedback.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.
  • Assisting with any administrative tasks related to the role.

Person SpecificationQualifications:

  • A suitably qualified graduate.
  • Evidence of relevant and ongoing CPD.
  • This role would be suitable for an NQT.

Experience:

  • Teaching experience in KS3 and KS4, including an up-to-date knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
  • Knowledge of recent national developments in Secondary Education.
  • An excellent teacher with the ability to secure consistently high levels of student achievement.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent teaching skills, including effective communication and the ability to motivate students.
  • Clear understanding of high-quality teaching and learning principles.
  • Commitment to achieving student success for all.
