We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Exeter. As a key member of management team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and accuracy of their civil engineering projects.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.

* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to develop cost-effective project plans.

* Monitor project budgets and financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities and potential risks

* Sub-contractor procurement

* Cost analysis and value engineering

* Site measurements, valuations and final accounts

Experience within a Civil Engineering environment

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator in civil engineering project

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costing principles

* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

* With specialist consultants based in our regional offices (Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth and St Austell) we fill vacancies daily with contractors, developers, civil engineers and their supply chain in high volume with quality candidates
