Health & Safety Advisor - Manchester - £55,000

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor looking to take on a new challenge with a nationwide Controls Company.

The Health & Safety Advisor position

In this position, you will be adept at providing support from the office or on site. You will be a results oriented HSEQ advisor to collaborate across all phases of project execution, from Pre-Sales Consultation to Project Completion and H&S File Handovers. Reporting directly to the Health, Safety & Quality Manager. Due to the nature of this role, travel will be necessary throughout the UK.

Giving proactive support and management for the HSE requirements on all aspects of project delivery from pre-sales to handover.
Attending Project Management & Engineer meetings and reporting on H&S performance.
Offering pragmatic advice on various aspects of Health& Safety to the wider delivery team.
NEBOSH Level 6 qualification or equivalent.
Extensive experience within construction & building maintenance environments.
Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills.
UK-wide travel will be an expectation of the roll.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
CSCS Safety Professional card.
High quality standards, with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work mix working in the office, at home and on customer sites as works dictate.
Salary is up to £55,000, depending on experience
