Role Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Omnichannel Marketing and Communications Director to shape the entire scope of this innovative project.


You'll steer the entire marketing ship, accountable for brand development, strategy, and execution across all touch points, utilising both internal resources and outsourced vendors.


This is a CV-defining opportunity, to drive success for a pioneering conference festival and link your name to a global brand in the creative, music, culture and tech ecosystem


Responsibilities:
Develop and execute innovative marketing and communication strategies across channels.
Drive brand development initiatives for messaging and positioning consistency.
Identify growth opportunities within the conference and festival industry.
Manage social media platforms and lead paid media campaigns.
Collaborate to identify top talent for events and ensure a captivating lineup.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate insights into strategies.
Analyse performance metrics for data-driven decision-making.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of marketing professionals.
Represent the festival at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
Ensure all KPIs and metrics are achieved across: delegate attendees, advertisers, sponsors, journalists, bloggers, non for profit professionals etc


Requirements:
Extensive experience in omnichannel marketing and communications across the b2b/b2c ecosystem
You’re a creative, brand, digital and social guru type of marketer, with success taking innovative brands/tech into the conference and festival world
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive audience engagement/delegate ticket sales/revenue
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, paid media channels, and brand development principles to achieve the above KPIs
A strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and identify new opportunities for innovation and immersive live and digital experiences
A results-driven approach, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and ROI for sponsors, investors and brand partnerships
Passion for music, film, media, technology, and the arts
Experience leading the brand strategy for an event launch/re-launch
Ability to work at pace and delivery vast projects on time and in budget
