Job Description for Process Mining Value architect

Technical expertise of process mining with a keen understanding of the business value derived from such initiatives.

Business Alignment:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and desired outcomes from process mining initiatives.
  • Identify areas where process mining can bring the most tangible value, such as cost savings, efficiency gains, or improved customer experiences.

Value Proposition Development:

  • Based on process insights, define clear value propositions, emphasizing tangible benefits like ROI, reduced process times, or cost savings.
  • Present the business case for process changes or enhancements derived from process mining insights.

Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Ensure that the process mining solution design aligns with the areas of highest business value.
  • Oversee the technical implementation, ensuring that it stays focused on the identified value propositions.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

  • Regularly communicate with senior management and other stakeholders about the value being derived from the process mining initiatives.
  • Translate technical insights into business language, focusing on the tangible benefits and outcomes.
  • Work closely with IT teams, data scientists, business analysts, and process owners to ensure smooth implementation and utilization of process mining solutions.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or consultants if third-party solutions are being utilized
  • Work closely with process owners, IT teams, data analysts, and other stakeholders to drive a holistic approach
  • to process improvement, where value realization is central.

Continuous Value Monitoring:

  • Monitor and measure the actual business value derived from implemented changes or enhancements.
  • Adjust strategies based on the evolving needs of the business and the changing process landscape.

Training & Capacity Building:

  • Train business teams on how to interpret process mining results in terms of business value.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, emphasizing the importance of deriving value from process insights

Feedback Loop Establishment:

Establish mechanisms to gather feedback on the value derived from process changes, ensuring that the organization continuously learns and refines its approach
