About the Venue:

Novotel Brighton Beach is an iconic hotel located in the vibrant seaside suburb of Brighton, offering stunning views of the ocean and unparalleled hospitality. With our recent full refurbishment nearing completion, we are proud to introduce our guests to an elevated experience, featuring five bars, one restaurant and an all-day eatery menu showcasing the best of local and international cuisine.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Beverage Duty Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. The Food and Beverage Duty Manager will oversee the operations of our diverse food and beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team of talented professionals across our five bars and two restaurants, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Coordinate daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control, to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to brand standards.
  • Implement strategies to drive revenue growth, such as promoting special events, upselling techniques, and monitoring cost controls.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in accordance with health regulations and company policies.
  • Act as a point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the food and beverage team, focusing on service standards, product knowledge, and upselling techniques.

About You

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry best practices, and local regulations.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.
