We have an opportunity for a contentious probate solicitor to join a leading Legal 500 law firm in either their Manchester or Lancashire office.

The team has had an incredibly successful year and the contentious probate offering continues to grow. The team acts for clients on both a national and an international basis and are an integral part of the business, servicing both clients across the firm and external referrals/new business.

Headed up by a leading individual in this area of law, this incoming contentious probate solicitor will be given the opportunity to work closely with a learn from this partner as well as other solicitors within the department.

Work will involve administration and/or the distribution of an estate or trust including validity of lifetime transactions, validity/interpretation of wills and trusts, proprietary estoppel, contested CoP matters etc. There will also be plenty of opportunities to attend court hearings.

The team have had great success with retraining solicitors from other areas of litigation and so they are open to retraining a solicitor who has prior experience in a different area of litigation.
