With a strong focus on energy/utilities, they offer cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions to optimise the operation and control of electrical systems.

Due to significant growth this has created the need to appoint an Applications Manager to help grow and strengthen their business globally.

The role:

Some duties would include:

  • Participate in Sales meetings with sales director and lead Interface with customers on all technical elements and schedules.
  • Develop technical solutions to meet the customers requirements.
  • Promotion & presentations of Substation Automation products, solutions.
  • Tendering of technical and commercial proposals.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities and to market technical solutions

Qualifications:

The candidate will likely have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years experience in design or application engineering in control and protection, Substation automation projects.
  • Strong experience in developing technical solutions to meet the customers requirements.
  • Producing technical and commercial proposals as part of sales process selling MV and HV equipment for power utility projects.
  • Proven experience in MV & HV Networks, selling to products and solutions for system design and Technology specification (Smart Grid Solutions, SCADA, Protection, Substation Automation, Distribution Automation)
  • An extensive network within target TSO & DSO senior management teams
  • Be able to solve complex problems, Engage customers, with an attention to detail
  • Speak English
