As part of our continued growth we are looking for a skilled Business Analyst specialising in data to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing, collecting, and documenting data requirements for various projects and initiatives within the organisation. You will work closely with the data lead and data governance team to ensure that data quality is optimised across all platforms and be capable of supporting business units in extracting insights from data, utilising strong analytical skills.

As an analyst specialising in data, the successful applicant will have excellent technical analytical skills, allied to an exhaustive knowledge of data and data processes to support projects across the organisation

What you will do:

  • Analysis of data related topics and proactively identify opportunities to improve data quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, conducting interviews and workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements for projects
  • Creating documentation, and specifications to define data standards and requirements, collaborating with the Data Governance team to develop these
  • Providing guidance and support to business units on data collection, validation, and reporting including support of MI generation
  • Participating in data migration, integration, and transformation projects as needed

What you will have:

  • Experience in a data-focussed Business Analyst role in an Agile environment
  • Experience of generating MI
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical staff as well as to animate a group.
  • Knowledge of SQL an advantage
