Field Based Technician - Electric Vehicles - Norfolk - £30k to £50k+ Company Vehicle
One of our Key Clients is recruiting for a Field Based Roadside Technician based in Norfolk with previous experience in Diagnosing, Repairing and Maintaining vehicles.

Salary - £30k to £50k (8:00am to 4:30pm (Overtime & Occasional Weekends if required)
Benefits - Company Vehicle + All Travel Expensed
The main purpose of this job is to attend client sites as required to carry out essential repair and/or maintenance of Electric Vehicles. When not out on calls with client’s time will be spent in the workshop supporting the build of electric vehicles so you could be working on your own or within a team of other technicians.
Maintenance of EV vehicles.
Assembly of EVs in production including assembling/disassembling of EV Motors, Gearboxes, Power electronics.
Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
Diagnostic and quality checking completed work
Frequent travel offsite to clients or suppliers as required across the UK and very occasionally on an international basis.
NVQ Level 3 or HNC/BTEC in Engineering
Hold a valid UK drivers Licence

Experience in the use of diagnostic Software
~ Strong diagnostic capabilities, both electrical and mechanical
~4 years + experience of vehicle maintenance, pneumatics & hydraulics with electrical bias being an advantage
~ Operate tooling, machinery and equipment related to assembly, repairs and modification of EV buses.
~ Strong planning organisational skills and highly motivated
~ The ability to manage your own time whilst in the field.
~ Proficient with MS office suite of applications specifically: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams & SharePoint.
~ Physical fitness is required as the role involves lifting and manual handling and operation of equipment and power tools.
