You will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for the professional players they partner with, ensuring suitable visibility and activations at events. This dynamic and pivotal role is a rare chance to make a significant impact with a global sports goods manufacturer.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to align the professional players' marketing strategy with the broader marketing strategy, helping develop best practices in marketing the brand within the professional game and enabling our client to establish itself as the leading global brand in their sport.
Establish strong working relationships with sport events organisations.
Ensure that players and events fulfil contractual commitments to promote the brand and products.
Be the main point of contact for pro players for all marketing initiatives and activations – including working with them on the product design process.
Create a reporting framework to demonstrate the value of professional players and events to the brand.
Regular travel to events in the UK and beyond.
Support the Youth Development and Academy programs.
Proven experience in managing professional players or sports ambassador relationships.
Proven experience in handling contractual management with professional players and events.
A passion and enthusiasm for the sport.
Minimum 3 years of sports marketing experience working with professional competitors, teams, events, or governing bodies.
Strong project management and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail – able to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
