Our client, a leading company in the marine industry, is currently seeking a skilled Plater to join their team in Govan. This exciting opportunity is with BAE - Maritime Naval Ships (MNS), a reputable organization specializing in Defence & Security and Marine sectors. As a Plater, you will play a vital role in the fabrication process, ensuring the quality and integrity of the structures.
Performing fabrication and welding tasks, following technical drawings and specifications
Inspecting workpieces for accuracy and quality control purposes
Working in adherence to health and safety guidelines and company policies
Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively to ensure smooth project completion
Significant experience in plating and metal fabrication
Strong knowledge of cutting, forming, and welding techniques
Ability to operate various metalworking machinery and hand tools
Attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work
Contract Type
