Overview:
We’re looking for a Consultant to join the Alternative Investment Practice. The individual will be tasked with providing business analysis and system expertise for the delivery of eFront for Private Market clients. The role is office based in our London.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Consultant will have a minimum of one to three years’ experience working for a consultancy firm or Asset Owner/Manager in private markets. The person will be responsible for working alongside stakeholders across a client to identify and document requirements, processes, as well as supporting the delivery of solutions to meet those requirements. Successful candidates must demonstrate both business function and system knowledge to lead on workstreams or tasks, to help parties complete a successful eFront implementation.
Core role activities include:
- Requirements documentation: take part in or lead discussions to identify client requirements, including documenting outcomes and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Target Operating Model Design: take part in or lead discussions to identify client current operating model and process flows. In addition, using current process, design a target operating model with future state process flows that meet industry and system standards.
- Data Architecture Design: take part in or lead discussions to identify current and future data flows and data structures.
- Solution Design: perform design document reviews, assisting the client in ensuring requirements are addressed and that proffered solutions provide a best practice, scalable approach.
- Testing: support the testing process, providing subject matter expertise on eFront and the solution design. Assist the project team to create and complete test cases and ensure delivery of a defect free solution.
- Subject Matter Expertise: provide knowledge of eFront applications, Front to Back Office functions and best practice approaches to business process.
- Project management: assist the team in maintaining project and client reporting material, including project plans, status updates, actions logs and other client based management or reporting tools such as Jira boards.
- Client engagement: form part of a positive working environment, with a constant focus on client satisfaction and delivery of a first class service.
Skills & Experience
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Minimum of one year experience working for a Private Market Asset Owner, Asset Manager or consultancy firm.
- Experience across asset types such as Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Infrastructure.
- Demonstrable experience working with eFront.
- Demonstrable experience being involved in business transformation, whether that be enhancing process, or involvement in a project.
- Ability to clearly articulate with stakeholders through business documents (email, written documents and PowerPoint).
- Ability to be a subject matter expert in agile project, team, working group and other stakeholder meetings.
- Exceptional use of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Subject matter expertise in identifying typical business requirements, challenges, risks and mitigations or solutions.
- Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project and Smartsheets.
