Skills:

SQL Server Installation and Configuration:

  • Extensive experience in installing and configuring SQL Server on on-premises servers.
  • Proficiency in setting up SQL Server instances and configuring them for optimal performance and security.

Database Optimization and Performance Tuning:

  • Deep understanding of database performance tuning techniques.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize slow-performing queries.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  • Knowledge of indexing strategies and their impact on query performance.

Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Experience in setting up and managing maintenance plans for database health.
  • Proficiency in performing consistency checks and ensuring data integrity.
  • Familiarity with automated maintenance tasks like backups, index maintenance, and statistics updates.

Query Analysis and Troubleshooting:

  • Strong skills in analyzing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
