Principal Mechanical Engineer

Job Description On the back of multiple successes within our growing Major Projects division, we currently have an opportunity for a Principal Mechanical Engineer, to join us in the Renfrew/Teesside area to lead the mechanical engineering team on Greenfield and Brownfield projects across Carbon Capture, Hydrogen, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, and Oil & Gas sectors. You will be responsible for project and discipline-related administrative tasks.
You will work to resolve issues with site personnel and provide on-site support for construction and commissioning.
Our ideal candidate will have expertise in engineering principles and practices to work to solve complex engineering problems, ensuring the most efficient and economical solutions are applied to meet project objectives. Backed by a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in similar industries, our ideal candidate will have the ability to assist the project management team with issues affecting project completion and profitability, plans, controls & reports on project work.
