Job Description Financial Director


An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Financial Controller at a prestigious multi-family office and VC incubator in London. As a Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the financial performance of this esteemed organisation.

Role Overview:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the FD will lead the financial management initiatives, overseeing all accounting activities and supervising the finance staff. You will have the chance to make a significant impact by improving efficiency, resolving inefficiencies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of financial activities, from day-to-day transactions to year-end accounts. Your responsibilities will include managing the monetary management process, conducting credit control, supervising bookkeeping services, and providing leadership to their dedicated team. You'll also play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance, forecasting cash flow, and generating insightful reports to support strategic decision-making alongside the CEO. Key Requirements:

~ Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
~ Full qualification as an accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
~7-10 years of hands-on experience as a Finance Director
~ Background in Single or Multi-Family Offices, finance, Hedge Funds, or professional services firms is preferred
~ Expertise in Sage software
~ Excellent analytical and communication skills
~ Fluent in English and a second language is preferred
